Hi! Welcome to our little writer nook. We are just two friends who have a joint writing brain named Jason. Although sometimes his nicer twin brother Jeremy makes a visit in our writing. We spend most of our time writing, but we also enjoy watching things, reading, and listening to music.
I hate that the crock pot does not have a light because it makes me think that it’s not actually on so then I have to like make sure that it’s hot and that can go horribly wrong
I want to say one more thing as a cis person who experimented with labels over the years, questioned my gender, and ended up as cis after all. The trans community did not “indoctrinate” me. I had always been asking these questions, even as a little kid before I knew trans people even existed. Over the years, trans women gave me the courage to explore the femininity I wasted my youth denying, trans men taught me that manhood is what you make of it and that nobody could tell me how to define it, and nonbinary people taught me just how limitless my possibilities were. The only parts of my upbringing that left me “confused” about gender were the conservatives who imposed a vision of gender that my friends and I could not relate to. And when I realized trans identity wasn’t something I could claim after all, the community loved me all the same. I am happier, and the world is more beautiful, because of trans people. The human impulse to create and survive isn’t going anywhere, and neither are trans people.

It’s a unique type of frustration when you agree that a character is deeply flawed but other people keep missing what’s actually wrong with them and assigning them new flaws that they don’t even have it’s like free my man he did none of that. He did a bunch of other shit tho.
And if you do get paid for your ideas/writing during the strike, that is considered scabbing and you will be barred from the WGA for life, as per this email from the Blacklist:
And, because a lot of people don’t understand this bit, this is about you selling your ideas or writing to US-based TV studios or movie studios who are part of the AMPTP. There is no strike against book publishers. Nor audiobooks, graphic novels, or poetry publishing. Or just writing.
